Clallam Ready (CR) in Emerald Highlands

MYN in Emerald Highlands

In the event of disaster, first responders may be overwhelmed and unavailable. The goal of Map Your Neighborhood is to prepare Emerald Highlands residents be self-reliant during a disaster when outside help is not available. In using the MYN program you will:

Learn nine steps to take immediately in a disaster.
Identify locations for neighbors to gather.
Develop an emergency response plan for your area.
Learn about resources in your area.
Get to know your neighbors and identify their:

Special needs
Skills
Equipment
Utilities shutoff

Emerald Highlands has been divided into 9 MYN areas with a captain for each area:

South Amethyst and Sapphire
North Amethyst
Jade Circle
South Coral
North Coral
Topaz
Opal
Onyx
Emerald Highlands Way

Many of Emerald Highlands eight Clallam Ready (EH CR) areas have two Coordinators, distinguishable by their blue EH CR protective helmets and two-way radios.
